Candidates who are Indian nationals and have studied Class 12 in India, fall under this category. General category students are required to appear for NUCAT 2024, for admission to BSc Nursing program.
NRIs / Indian nationals who have passed Class 12 outside India / Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India, but are sponsored by parents / blood relatives having NRI status fall under this category. NRI category students are also required to appear for NUCAT 2024, for admission to BSc Nursing program.
Candidates who are Foreign nationals / Persons of Indian Origin / Overseas Citizens of India fall under this category and are eligible for direct admission based on marks secured in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects in Class 12 / equivalent examination.
Pass in Class 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the languages of study. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
In addition to the basic eligibility criteria mentioned above, candidates should qualify in the Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) 2024. Candidates appearing for Class 12 examination are eligible to apply for NUCAT.
